WITHIN THE SCOPE OF LAW NO. 6698 ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

INFORMATION NOTICE

a)         Data Controller and Representative

SİSKON INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION SYSTEMS INDUSTRY AND TRADE INC. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), processes your personal data within the scope explained below and within the limits prescribed by the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter referred to as “KVKK”) and other relevant legislation.

In this context, your personal data may be obtained, recorded, stored, preserved, modified, reorganized, disclosed, transferred, taken over, made available, classified, and transferred to third parties or institutions, either fully or partially by automatic means or by non-automatic means provided that it is part of any data recording system.

b)        Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data shall be processed within the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK for the purposes of carrying out the necessary work by our business units to enable you to benefit from the products and services offered by our Company; recommending the products and services offered by our Company to you; planning and/or executing market research activities for the sale and marketing of products and services; planning and/or executing after-sales support services; following up contractual processes and/or legal claims; ensuring the legal, technical and commercial safety of the relevant persons who have a business relationship with our Company; carrying out our Company’s human resources policies, evaluating your job application if you apply for a job, fulfilling our legal obligations if you are our employee; ensuring quality monitoring of our products and services; tracking supplied products; ensuring security, identifying your identity and providing your connection to the wireless network when you visit our Company; contacting you if you request information from our Company; fulfilling the sales or service contract if you purchase a product or service; planning, auditing and executing information security processes; establishing and managing information technologies infrastructure; following finance and/or accounting affairs; following legal affairs; planning and executing Company activities; planning and executing corporate communication activities; planning and executing logistics activities; determining and implementing our Company’s commercial and business strategies.

c)         To Whom and For What Purpose Personal Data May Be Transferred

Your personal data may be transferred, within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, to our business partners, suppliers, shareholders, affiliates, legally authorized public institutions and private persons for the purposes of carrying out the necessary work by our business units to enable you to benefit from the products and services offered by our Company; customizing and recommending the products and services offered by our Company according to your needs; ensuring the execution of our Company’s human resources policies; ensuring the legal and commercial security of our Company and the persons/institutions in business relations with our Company; determining and implementing our Company’s commercial and business strategies.

d)         Transfer Abroad           

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties outside the situations stated in this Information Notice. As a Company, we may share your personal data within the scope of this Information Notice only to the extent necessary for the realization of the purposes stated above and with our suppliers who undertake to process your personal data in accordance with this Information Notice. In case your personal data is transmitted via e-mail, through the official website www.siskon.com.tr or through any other electronic medium, it may be shared with e-mail or server service providers located abroad (in European countries).

e)         Method and Legal Basis of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected by our Company through different channels and based on different legal reasons within the framework of our Company’s commercial purposes, such as contacting our Company by various means, establishing and performing a contractual relationship with our Company, visiting our Company, transmission of your information to us by third parties in order to contact you for commercial activities, sharing information at organizations such as fairs, trainings and conferences, and similar methods; in order to improve the products and services we offer and to carry out our commercial activities. Your personal data collected for these legal reasons may also be processed and transferred for the purposes specified in articles (b) and (c) of this Information Notice within the scope of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.

f)         Retention Period of Your Personal Data

Your personal data processed in accordance with the KVKK will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized by our Company ex officio or upon your request in case the reasons requiring its processing cease to exist, in accordance with the KVKK, the Regulation on the Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Personal Data and other relevant legislation. Our obligations under all kinds of legislation, especially the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, the Labor Law No. 4857, the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, and the Law No. 5651 on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and Combating Crimes Committed through Such Publications, which require us to retain your personal data, are reserved.

g)         Your Rights Under Article 11 of the KVKK and Your Application

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, as the data subject, you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed,
• Request information regarding your personal data if it has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
• Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
• Request correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed and request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
• Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data in case the reasons requiring its processing cease to exist, although it has been processed in accordance with the KVKK and other relevant laws, and request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
• Object to the emergence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• Request compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data

you have these rights.

Pursuant to Article 11 and paragraph 1 of Article 13 of the KVKK and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you may submit your request regarding the exercise of your rights stated above (preferably by filling in all the information in the application form on our website) to us by choosing one of the following methods.

In your application;

a) Name, surname and signature if the application is in writing,

b) For citizens of the Republic of Turkey, TR ID number; for foreigners, nationality, passport number or ID number if available,

c) Residence or workplace address for notification,

ç) If available, e-mail address, telephone and fax number for notification,

d) Subject of the request,

must be included. You must also attach information and documents related to the subject to your application.

Within the scope of the rights granted in Article 11 of the KVKK, if you submit your requests regarding these rights to us, our Company will respond as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest depending on the nature of your request. If the transaction requires an additional cost, a fee determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged by our Company.

Your application will be responded to by our Company in accordance with all our obligations within the scope of the KVKK and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, fulfilling all formal and procedural requirements.
